Care Philosophy

"I look forward to helping older adults and their loved ones navigate the complexities of medical care, memory loss, and multiple chronic conditions. My goal is to decrease the burden of care, minimize high-risk medications when possible, and maintain physical function for as long as possible. I consider it an honor to have my patient's trust and to walk this journey with them and their family."

For several years, she worked at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center in Med-Surg/trauma. In 2017, she earned her advanced practice degree from Texas State University. She later transitioned to outpatient wound care, focusing on chronic and acute wound management, limb salvage, and hyperbaric medicine. Outside of work, Heather enjoys outdoor activities, sports, live music, volunteering, and spending time with her husband and son.
