He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University and medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After medical school, he spent time in Birmingham, Alabama completing an internship in general surgery at Baptist Health System General Surgery Residency, and a family medicine residency at St. Vincent’s East Family Medicine Residency. Clinical interests include preventative and community health, continuity of care, mental wellness, and diabetes management. He is excited to return to Austin, living with his wife and two children in South Austin, enjoying daily runs with a double jogging stroller, watching Texas A&M football, and exploring the city.
"I believe in a collaborative approach to medicine with the patient, taking into account your life situation, family needs, and community needs. I chose to specialize in family medicine in order to take a broad approach to treating the whole person, not a specific illness. Embracing the prevention of disease is as if not more important than treating every ailment with a medication. Listening, communication, and honesty are key to maintaining a great relationship with my patients, and I strive to serve my patients best by maintaining those principles. Embracing technology is an important part of my practice, helping to maintain more efficient and effective communication and information to patients. It is my honor to serve you and the community, and I am excited to be a part of this opportunity to treat and know my patients."

Bradley Homza was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and is excited to call Bastrop his new home. He and his wife Madeline recently moved to Bastrop after graduating top of his class at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His interest in pursuing a career in medicine stemmed from his experiences overcoming injuries as a collegiate athlete on the Georgia Tech Swimming and Diving team. The medical care he received as an athlete allowed him the opportunity to qualify for the 2016 USA Olympic Trials. Now his goal is to provide his patients with the best evidence-based medicine and treatment options available to help them achieve their own functional and life goals.
While out of the office, Bradley enjoys spending time in the great outdoors kayaking, hiking, camping, and enjoying water sports with his family and friends. He also loves spending time with his golden retriever, Penny, and tabby cat, Aslan.
"My care philosophy is to strive to form long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families that value each of their personal beliefs, philosophies, and concerns regarding medical care. I am a firm believer in patient education and aim to spend an ample amount of time with every patient so that they may better understand their disease and how it affects their health. I am passionate about the high-quality care I provide to my patients and I am excited to get to know them and their families as we work closely together in overcoming their individualized medical challenges."
