PFP CEO, Rich Steinle served as Visiting Lecturer to the student body of the UT Health Information Technology Certificate Program. The HIT Certification Program is a 9 week post-baccalaureate program that trains students in a full spectrum of health IT related job skills. PFP has partnered with the program for several years to host student interns, judge lab practicum projects and provide guest lecturers.
Mr. Steinle shared the perspective of a provider organization on the latest industry trends, potential impacts of the Affordable Care Act on primary care and the pending Supreme Court decision. He also shared Premier Family Physicians’ vision and strategic plan for embracing reform and redefining the patient experience for Primary Care in Austin.
