"Patients are the captains of their 'Health ship'. A doctor should act as the navigator. My job is to help the patients by giving them all the information they need to make the right decisions about their health. All I need to do is listen carefully to the patient, and understand his/her needs. Simple. I have a special interest in geriatrics, diabetes mellitus, and preventive cardiology."

“My goal is to be a patient advocate. I always try to explain to patients the positive and negative sides of each problem and provide all the necessary medical advice so that patient can make an informed decision about his or her own health. Patients enjoy working with me towards a treatment plan because I listen and develop a personalized plan that incorporates patients’ input and preferences. I have a passion for internal medicine where I manage patients with complex medical problems. I am also passionate about educating patients about preventative measures to improve their health and general well-being. My special interests are endocrinology and cardiology. On a daily basis, I see patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, acute illnesses, thyroid problems, women’s health, and well exams.”

“I believe patients should be empowered to participate in their care and collaborate along with the health care team. The best care is achieved when the patient and their family are active participants in their health. For this reason, I enjoy patient education and involving the patient in managing their health. I like to focus on preventative care and management of chronic conditions such as HTN, heart disease, and DM to prevent further progression of the disease. I enjoy the diversity that primary care offers and look forward to getting to know my patients and their families.”
