Accepting New Patients

Sarah Browning is a board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner. Born and raised in Waco, Texas, she earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Baylor University and master of science in nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she had the privilege of serving as an emergency room registered nurse in various hospitals from New York to Alaska for over 11 years. Prepared to care for individuals ages 15 and up, she has a special interest and background in chronic disease management and caring for the geriatric population. Prior to joining Premier Family Physicians, she worked as a nurse practitioner in post-acute care managing patients with acute and chronic illnesses in the rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing, and long-term care settings. When not working to improve the quality of life of others, Sarah enjoys attempting to be a chef in her own kitchen as well as exploring the world with her family, friends, and her 14-pound miniature poodle, Zeus.

Care Philosophy
Whether it is a well-check, managing acute/chronic diseases, or discussing end-of-life care, I believe that modern medicine requires the patient and provider to form an interactive partnership. As your healthcare provider, it is my job to educate, empower, and provide realistic options that are evidence-based and holistic. Through collaboration and thoughtful dialogue, it is my goal to help you reach an informed decision that is focused on your values and goals.

She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas Arlington as a way to continue her compassionate care in preventative health for patients of all ages.
