Dr. Lifshen is married to Marny, and they have two daughters, Samantha and Jenna. Marny is a marketing consultant, author, and lecturer. Samantha is attending Auburn University, and Jenna is at the University of Kentucky. The rest of the family includes three cats (Cricket, Juno, and Ziggy), one dog named Roscoe P. Coltrane Lifshen, and a horse named Presley. Dr. Lifshen provided medical services for many bands and events including the first 10 ACL festivals, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Rolling Stones, Steve Tyler, Nine Inch Nails, Tom Petty, Garbage, Arctic Monkeys, and too many more to list. He also was the Family Physician for the Austin Ice Bats. In his spare time, Dr. Lifshen enjoys live music, sports, and disc golf.

Melani Kellison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She began her nursing career after graduating from UT Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, and spent seven years working in the emergency department, where she gained extensive clinical experience. After practicing emergency medicine, she transitioned to family practice and worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She recently moved to Lakeway, Texas with her husband and daughter to get back to her Texas roots. In her free time, she enjoys live music, working out, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home with her family.
