As most of you are aware, I have been gradually moving toward a retirement date for the past several years. It looks like that date is set now, my last day in the office will be May 29, 2025.  As many of you know, my wife Debbie retired from the Premier billing department a few years ago, so it is probably my turn now. I want to thank all of you for sharing and trusting me and my team with your medical care over the past years, many of you for much of the 40 years I have been in practice. I especially want to thank you for adjusting to my reduced work schedule over the past few years. I have had the pleasure of spending more time with personal goals, time with my family, and traveling as a result. I am also deeply grateful to my fellow medical providers and team who have stepped up to help fill the gaps my reduced schedule has created. For those of you who have seen Shannon or Leslie in the past, you will be pleased to know they will still be working at the Village location. It is also my pleasure to welcome Dr. Jennifer Hartman to the Village, who will also be available as an option for your ongoing care. The paragraph below will help fully explain your health care transition options going forward.

As a few patients have already reminded me, this is not really a formal goodbye, as many of you will still cross paths with Debbie and I in neighborhoods, restaurants, entertainment venues and maybe even a disc golf course or two for hopefully many years to come. Stay active, keep up with any ongoing health care needs, and please remember to reach out to the office for help or questions whenever needed. We wish you the very best in your personal and health lives.
