Dr. DeLeon grew up in Richmond, Texas. She went to undergrad at The University of Texas at Austin, received a master’s degree in Fort Worth at UNT Health Science Center, and obtained her medical education from UTMB in Galveston. She recently completed her residency in Conroe at Lonestar Family Medicine Residency Program. She chose family medicine because she enjoyed seeing the whole family and developing relationships with patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and family, watercolor and acrylic painting, group exercise classes, and traveling. She is excited to start this new chapter in Bastrop.

Karsyn has deep roots in this area as an 8th-generation Central Texan. She grew up on her family’s ranch, where she still enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and her horses. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at UT Austin. Karsyn began her career on the business side of health care but quickly felt called to be on the clinical side where she could interact with and care for patients.
