Dr. Krystal DeLeon grew up in Richmond, Texas, and began her journey in medicine at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her undergraduate degree and was actively involved in Women in Medicine—a student organization that solidified her passion for healthcare. Surrounded by inspiring mentors and like-minded women committed to helping others, Krystal felt called to pursue a career that combined science, service, and connection.
She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston and completed her residency training at Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program. Drawn to the depth and continuity of care, Dr. DeLeon chose family medicine because of her love for building lasting relationships with patients of all ages. Inspired by the impact her own family doctor had on her growing up, she strives to bring that same sense of care and trust to every person she sees.
Outside of medicine, Krystal enjoys life with her husband and their many beloved pets. She finds joy in painting with watercolor and acrylics, staying active through running, and experimenting with new plant-focused recipes.

Care Philosophy: “I believe that great medicine starts with connection. As a family physician, my goal is to build lasting, trusting relationships with my patients and their families—because healing happens best when people feel heard, respected, and supported. I approach care with compassion, curiosity, and a deep commitment to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Whether I’m managing a chronic condition, guiding someone through a major life transition, or simply listening during a routine visit, I strive to create a space where patients feel safe, empowered, and valued. Inspired by my own family doctor growing up, I aim to be a consistent presence in the lives of those I care for—someone they can turn to not just in sickness, but throughout every season of life. I also believe in the power of lifestyle choices, preventive care, and education, and enjoy working collaboratively with patients to help them live fuller, healthier lives.”
