Elise’s journey into medicine started early—by the age of six, she knew she wanted to be a medical provider. Growing up in Concord, North Carolina, her passion for healthcare only grew stronger as she pursued her education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition from North Carolina State University, a program that deepened her understanding of how nutrition plays a critical role in health.
After graduating in December 2019, Elise moved to Austin, TX, just before the world was turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. She spent the next two years working as a medical assistant for Dr. Kopecky, gaining invaluable experience and preparing for the next step in her career. Her determination led her to Texas Tech University Health Science Center, where she completed her PA studies in Midland, TX.
Now, Elise is excited to return to Austin and start her career with the PFP family. When she’s not caring for patients, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her husky mix, Shady, whipping up new recipes in the kitchen or unwinding with a good book. Elise also loves staying active, whether that’s through working out or connecting with friends. She’s thrilled to be part of the Austin community again, serving others and doing what she loves.

Care Philosophy: “I believe that medicine is both an art and a science. The art lies in connecting with each patient as an individual, acknowledging the complexity of human experiences, and treating every person with the respect they deserve. I strive to recognize the unique challenges my patients face and build relationships based on trust and empathy. On the scientific side, medicine is constantly evolving, and it can sometimes feel overwhelming for those outside the field. My goal is to bridge that gap by clearly communicating medical concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. I see my role as not only a provider but as a partner—working together with my patients to find the best path to health and well-being. I am committed to staying open to new ideas, treatments, and research that may benefit my patients. I believe in listening deeply and ensuring that every patient feels heard. Because each patient is unique, I approach every situation with flexibility, curiosity, and a commitment to finding what works best for them. At the core of my philosophy is the promise to always give my very best. As I continue to grow in my career and expand my medical knowledge, what my ‘best’ looks like will evolve—but it will always mean walking into the room ready to provide compassionate, thoughtful care.”
