REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER

The Revenue Cycle Manager’s key role is to maximize the monthly cash collection efforts by managing and monitoring all the revenue cycle activities. The Revenue Cycle Manager role is a combination of 1. Administration & Policy Setting, 2. People Management and 3. Day-to-Day Tasks. This role reports to the CFO who will be an active partner with the Revenue Cycle Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Drives departmental initiatives to ensure long-term operating excellence by developing key metrics and KPI’s (e.g. month over month cash collection, backlog days, A/R Aging buckets, etc.)
  • Oversees development and modification of patient billing procedures to allow optimal income generation
  • Maintains and provides a positive work environment and morale for the team by timely communication, written and understandable policies and other ways to incorporate team member involvement in the daily work efforts for the area
  • Responsible for coaching, training, and developing staff. Assigns works, sets completion dates, reviews work and manages performance in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and performance management processes
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years revenue cycle experience, with 2+ of those in a supervisor or management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • A high level of maturity and Emotional Intelligence
  • The ability to bring the best out of all staff (team of 9)
  • The ability to operate at a high level in order to implement best practice and not get distracted by day-to-day activities.
